World Cup Odds

world_cupFootball fans around the globe are eagerly awaiting for the World Cup 2010 to start and everybody expects it to be one of the most interesting tournaments in history. At least seven or eight countries are hoping to return from South Africa with the coveted trophy in their hands, while we are likely to see a couple of surprises as well.

World Cup holders Italy are not among the hot favourites as they’ve been largely struggling of late, just like Argentina, who risk early elimination if they stick to Maradona. We see Brazil and Spain as the most likely candidates for the coveted title and online bookmakers obviously share the same opinion. England clearly have enough quality to produce a surprise but there is no value in backing them since the Three Lions tend to disappoint at big tournaments. If you are looking for a good value, Expekt gives really high odds on Germany and Holland.
